I've had a few shoots with Julian. He's a relaxed and disarming person who takes very high quality shots. His rates were very competitive and I'm stoked with the photos I got! Thanks Julian! 🤠

02.

Where are your headshot sessions held?

Headshot sessions are held at Observatory Hill Park, one of Sydney’s most versatile outdoor portrait locations and one of Sydney's most historic and stunning views in general.

It is a short 10 minute walk from either Wynyard or Circular Quay. Though there are less hills when walking from Wynyard.

03.

what should i wear for my headshot session?

I recommend wearing clean, well-fitted clothing in neutral or solid colours.

For most professional headshots, great options include:

  • A fitted button-up shirt
  • A blazer or smart jacket
  • Simple knitwear
  • Minimal patterns
  • Groomed hair and natural presentation

Avoid large logos, busy prints, or overly bright colours that can distract from your face.

04.

How long does a session take?

Most sessions take around 20–30 minutes, making them easy to fit into a workday or study schedule.

05.

When and how will i receive my photos?

You’ll receive your fully edited photos within 4 days via a private online gallery. From there, you can download both web‑sized images (perfect for LinkedIn and online use) and full‑resolution files for printing or high‑quality applications.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my session?

If the weather forecast is poor, you’ll have two easy options. We can relocate to one of the undercover areas near Observatory Hill that still provide clean, professional backgrounds, or we can reschedule to another day that suits us both. I monitor the forecast closely and will always reach out ahead of time if conditions look uncertain, so you never have to worry about bad weather affecting your session.
